Thursday, August summer worked in production as a cameraman. Robertson, a MSU senior, worked in electronic drafting. Miss Fortenberry, senior at Southern Methodist University in Dallas, majoring in broadcast film and business administration worked in the ETV business office. Miss Spaugh, a recent Belhaven graduate, performed secretarial duties in the education division. Library Story Hours and Films Story hour at Northside Branch Library begins at 10:30 each Friday, with Alice White, the storyteller and children's service worker, selecting high-interest stories for the program.

The Friday, Aug. 26, session will feature "Miss Nelson Is Missing" by Harring Allard and "Hector Penquin" by Louise Fatio. Film time at 10 o'clock on Thursday will include the showing of "The Tom Cat's Meow," "Elmer Elephant," and "The Great Piggybank Raid." Members of Ole Miss' three world series team will instruct baseball: John Gainey, Dick Shelton, Bill McGalthry, Rick McClure, Jim Pittman, Mike Parks, Andy Kilpatrick and Bobby Spaulding. Rodney Chamblee and John Palmer will instruct basketball techniques. Techniques in basketball will be given by Rodney Chamblee and John Palmer. Erskine Wells Jr. will teach tennis.

Some 1,104 degrees were granted during summer graduation exercises at the University of Southern Mississippi on Aug. 18.
