This inspection will be performed by Factory Trained Technicians using the most advanced diagnostic equipment available.

Over 60 items will be inspected and evaluated. At the completion of the inspection, you will be presented with an evaluation check sheet which will note all diagnostic findings. By TERM! SMITH One of the many activities this week was an assembly sponsored by the Junior class. A mock pep-rally, the program was hilarious, and reflected many hours of hard work. The 10 new cheerleaders, under the capable leadership of Jimmy "Jeannie" Hinton, led cheers and the 1974-75 Manhattan Malezelles, under the command of cpt.

Steve "Stephanie" Bramlett, 1st Lt. Jeffrey "Joanne" Jones, and 2nd Lt. Paul "Pauline" Goings, demonstrated a precision and coordination never seen before. At the conclusion of the performance, the Manhattan football team was introduced. Coach Tracey "Nighty" Knight said a few words concerning the team, and then introduced two players who are doing a fine job for the team, co-captains Kathy "Cleat-em" Clements and Laura "Sugar" Short.

Other players were Melissa "Razor" Reed and Sherry "Stump" Thaggard. The Juniors also popped up with two surprise guests. They were disc jockeys Johnny Dark and Bob Marshall from WRBC. The choir annually forms the core of the traditional Belhaven Singing Christmas Tree which will herald the yuletide for the 41st year Dec. 13 and 14. i Aiming NorthsiderK named to the famed Rrllmvcn College Concert Choir are Melissa Mann, (seated), and standing (from left): Lisa Mateer, Mike Cutrer and Mitch Mitchell, all graduates of Jackson Preparatory School. Acclaimed at home and abroad for its musical excellence, the choir has performed in Petition Contest. The group responsible for staging the assembly are the junior class officers: president, Julia Mann; vice president, Debbie Sanders; secretary, Sharon Patterson; treasurer, Wanda Ray; and student council representative, Debbie Poole.

The Senior class, after several meetings, has decided to go to Breckenridge, Colo, again for the Senior trip. The first fund-raising drive will be the sale of bumper stickers. Senior class officers are president, Gloria Ferguson; vice president, Jeff Hubbard; secretary, Jennifer Jones; treasurer, Yvonne Plunkett; and student council representative, Patti Phillips. Friday night's game was, unfortunately, another loss for the Lancers. They met the Pillow Academy Mustangs and lost to the tune of 34-7.

Hopefully Lady Luck will be on our side next week when the Lancers meet Canton Academy in another home game. After the game, a dance, sponsored by the Junior class, was held in the gym from 11:00 to 1:00. The Juniors did a terrific job with the decorations and refreshments. The entertainment was provided by Stonehenge. Some of the couples seen around the dance floor were Gloria Ferguson and Kent Nichols, Dare Kelly and Ellis Wright, Kathy Waldrop and David Barnes, Julia Mann and Dewitt Railey, Laura Short and Bill Holden, Celeste Pierce and Ricky Morphew, Gayden Scott and Don Ellis, Kathy Clements and Jeffrey Jones, Patti Phillips and Keith Matthews, Jennifer Jones and John Bond (or was that Patti Phillips and John Bond, and Jennifer Jones and Keith Ann Barrington and Kenny Roberts, and Emily Goings and Darden Jones.

Hopes for a swift recovery are extended to Stan Prichard, who was injured in Friday night's game. Also out of action for a while is Eddie Jarvis, who has mono. Have a nice week! Wednesday night the upper school advisors took their advisees from grades 7 12 roller tskating. Everyone had a great 3 ime, but paid for it through 3umps, bruises, and blisters, Thursday morning. (t Last Thursday, the chorus was visited by two guest performers. Johnny Kano and 3.ina Hensley. They played guitars and the piano and sang popular songs, as well as some old fifties hits.

They were really good and everyone enjoyed their singing. At our first assembly, plans for a new student center were shown to the student body. Hopefully it will be built before Christmas, with the senior class doing part of the construction themselves. This year St. Andrew's welcomes a new chaplain to the staff, Father Larry Maze.

He came to us from Montana. lie holds degrees from Montana State University and from the Episcopal Theological Seminary of the Southwest. Something else new this year around school is the second story in the high school building. It was finished this summer and staircases were built in the courtyard. Six classrooms and a computer room are now opened upstairs.

These five will compete with other semifinalists for 3,400 scholarships. Congratulations! Seven buses and many cars traveled to Greenwood last week for the Chargers' third game of the season. The Chargers played hard and good but the Greenwood Bulldogs came up with an advantage.

The final score was 20 to 7 with Roy Coleman making the only Charger touchdown and Kenny SanNicholas kicking the extra point. The Taylor Medal is the highest scholastic award presented annually in each academic subject area.

Mrs. Sandra Strom (center) was presented the Taylor Medal in English in 1970. She has been teaching at Prep for three years and sponsors the Prep Pacers. Her husband is a senior student at the University Medical Center. Miss Jan Wort hen, (right), a native of Tupelo, won the Taylor Medal in Secondary Education in 1971.

In her third vear at Prep, Miss Worthen teaches seventh grade social studies' and eighth grade American History, and sponsors the Junior High Student Council. Miss Ann Craven (left) from Grenada, was graduated from Ole Miss in 1974 with a major in math and was awarded the Taylor Medal in Secondary Education.
