Page 9B THE NORTHSIDE SUN, JACKSON, MISSISSIPPI Thursday, February 7, 1980 Our students to compete in science, math tourney Northsldo Basketball schedule CLINTON-Mississippi College will host the sixth annual Mississippi Science and Mathematics Tournament Feb. 7 and 8 and high school students from the Jackson area are expected to participate. The tournament, sponsored by the Mississippi College Division of Science and Mathematics, recognizes students and their high schools for outstanding academic achievement in science and math. Featuring both team and individual competition, the tournament offers more than $35,000 in academic scholarships to 1 Troopers Members and leaders of Brownie Troop 339 from First Presbyterian Day School recently got a behind the scenes peek at the operations of the Sun. The production will be presented in the semi-round and will feature dramatic visual and sound effects choreographed by the planetarium's staff and introduction by author Carroll A. Brinson. The opera, based on the memorable J. M. Synge play and depicting the life of a family on the rugged Irish sea coast, will be directed by James G.
