State 362-4051 1513 Lakeland Dr. I The Salvation Army Women's Auxiliary will sponsor its annual Bazaar and Elegant Ladies Doll Show Sept. 28 from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.

at St. Luke's Methodist Church, Dul-ing Avenue. The bazaar will offer visitors the opportunity to browse numerous booths. Items for sale will include plants, white elephants and baked goods (cakes, pies, cookies, candy, jellies, preserves, etc). Second Time Around Booth will offer adult and children's clothes.

Holiday items can be found at the Holiday Booth. A hot lunch will be available. Lady Horsman dolls dressed in handmade costumes will be auctioned at a silent auction. Dolls dressed depicting Southern Belles, a Merry Widow, Little Red Riding Hood and other fairy tales, as well as historical costumed dolls will be included in the auction. The event will also feature a reproduction bisque Dream Baby doll whose costume was created by Mrs.

Calvin Hudson and Mrs. Robert Sumrall. A Salem cradle crafted by Jim Shepherd will compliment this beautiful doll. A bisque Jumeau doll done by Mrs. Jim Shepherd will also be a highlight of the doll show and auction.

The bazaar is chaired by Mrs. Dorothy Guice and the Elegant Ladies Doll Auction is chaired by Mrs. Shepherd. Roses $8" doz. The annual contest is held to find new, appealing recipe ideas for farm raised catfish. Recipes may be submitted for any category as long as farm raised catfish is the main ingredient. Recipes must be submitted by Feb. 14, 1986. Five finalists will be selected and notified in mid April.

Out of town finalists will receive an all expense paid trip to Jackson, to compete in the June 6, 1986 cook-off for the $2,000 first prize. Joseph Leti Stewart of Albuquerque, will honor Mr. and Mrs. Thomas David Frizsell on their 60th wedding anniversary at the Sheraton Regency in Jackson, Oct. 5. Grace Davidson Frizsell was married to Thomas David Frizsell by Dr.

W. A. Hewitt of Jackson in 1925. Frizsell is a veteran of World War I and World War II. He was associated with R.

E. Kennington Co. until retirement and then associated with Craft Contract Furnishings. Mrs. Frizsell was office manager for The Penn Mutual Life Insurance Company until her retirement.
