6C THE NORTHSIDE SUN, JACKSON, MISSISSIPPI Thursday, July Miss Hemstreet and Evans plan wedding Mr. and Mrs. Donald Jon Hemstreet of Morganton, N.C. announce the engagement of their daughter, Amy Elizabeth Hemstreet, to S.R. Evans III, son of Dr.

and Mrs. S.R. Evans Jr of Greenwood. The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs.

Donald Hemstreet of Asheville, N.C. and the late Mr. and Mrs. Leslie Grizzard of Lakeland, Fla. She is a graduate of the University of the South and Vanderbilt University where she received degrees as a certified nurse midwife and a family nurse practitioner.

She is associated with the Central Shenandoah Department of Health as a midwife and family nurse practitioner. The prospective bridegroom is the grandson of Leslie Lampton Wilkinson of Jackson and the late Mr. Wilkinson and the late Mr. and Mrs. S.R.

Evans Sr. of Greenwood. He is a graduate of Pillow Academy and Washington and Lee University. He was graduated from Vanderbilt University School of Medicine. He is in his second year of residency in Amy Hemstreet Charlottesville, Va.

The wedding will be September 7 at St. Luke's Episcopal Church in obstetrics and gynecology at the University of Virginia Hospitals in Miss Sanders, Hartlein to marry in September Mr. and Mrs. Steve D. Sanders of Columbus announce the engagement of their daughter, Meredith Lynn Sanders, to John Wesley Hartlein son of Mr.

and Mrs. John Wesley Hartlein. The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Joy B. McClanahan and the late Mr. McClanahan of Columbus and of Mr.

and Mrs. Harold E. Sanders of West Point. She was graduated from Heritage Academy and attended Mississippi State University. She was graduated from Mississippi University for Women with a bachelor's degree of fine design.

She is a freelance interior designer in the Jackson area. The prospective bridegroom is the grandson of Mr. And Mrs. Neal D. Rogers and Glenna D.

Hartlein, all of Indianola. He attended Jackson Academy and was graduated from Mississippi State University with a bachelor's degree.
