16B THE NORTHSIDE SUN, JACKSON, MISSISSIPPI Thursday, September 19, 1996 Keller, Marble wed in Georgia KATHY ELAINE Keller and Evan Edward Marble were united in marriage April 20 at Ideal Baptist Church in Oglethorpe, Ga. The Rev. Sidney Clay performed the double ring ceremony. Susan Tungate directed the wedding. The bride is the daughter of Mr.

and Mrs. Kenneth Keller Jr. of Oglethorpe, Ga. The bridegroom is the son of Mr. and Mrs.

Ronald Marble of Jackson and Nassau, Bahamas. Escorted by her father, the bride wore a gown of natural silk shantung with a fitted bodice and scoop neckline. The bodice was accented with Alencon lace, pearl appliques and iridescent sequins. The short cap sleeves continued the design. The scoop neckline was duplicated in the back.

The full skirt with a semicathedral train flowed from a basque waistline accented with cutouts of Alencon lace with sequins and pearls. Her blusher veil flowed from a tiara of pearls and sequins. She carried a cascade of stargazer lilies, white lilies and white bridal roses accented with greenery and ivy. Andrea Kitchens of Montezuma was maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Angela Hayes of Oglethorpe, sister of the bride; and Bethany Carroll of Montezuma, Ga.

They wore daphne rose gowns accented with off-the-shoulder collars and pearl and rhinestone buttons. They carried arm bouquets of white roses mixed with greenery and babies' breath tied with white ribbons. Curt Thomas of Jackson was best man. Groomsmen were Brent Miller, Todd Steadman, both of Jackson; and William Slocumb of Athens, Ga. Miss Lacey Britt of Montezuma was the flower girl.

Master Colby Britt of Montezuma was the ring bearer. Mr. and Mrs. Evan Marble WEDDING MUSIC was presented by Jennifer Barfield, pianist; and Michael Greene, soloist. The mother of the bride wore a champagne jacquard fitted dress with a choker collar.

The collar was accented with a pearl cluster. A corsage of white roses completed her ensemble. The mother of the bridegroom wore a pastel yellow suit. The suit consisted of a chiffon skirt and a beaded brocade top with a scalloped neckline. A corsage of white roses completed her ensemble.

A reception followed in the church's fellowship hall. Carrie Turner presided at the registry. Assisting were Jennifer Barfield. Shirlee Barrett, Greg and Karen White, Bess Wheatcroft Whites entertain club at patriotic gathering The Pilot Club of Jackson met at Primos Northgate for their annual Patriotic Dinner meeting with Shirlee Barrett, president, presiding. Mason, Jordan say VOWs in Alabama MELANIE KATHRYN Mason of Jackson and David Wilkes Jordan of Dallas were married August 17 at 7 p.m. in Fairhope, Ala. at the Fairhope United Methodist Church. The reception followed at the Grand Hotel in Point Clear, Ala. The bride is the daughter of Mr.

and Mrs. Dick Bradford Mason III of Jackson. Jordan is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Lee Roy Jordan of Dallas.

The bride wore the gown her mother had worn 30 years ago. It was made of silk organza over peau de soie in soft candlelight tones. Designed on empire lines, the dress featured a bateau neckline overlaid with Alencon lace and embroidered with pearls. The sheath skirt was accented with appliques of lace and pearls and ended in a chapel train. Lace and pearls circled the train, which had been embroidered with the bride's and her mother's initials.

The veil of imported English illusion fell from a pill box with lace appliques sprinkled with pearls. AMANDA RODOLF MASON, sister of the bride, served as her only attendant. The bridegroom's father was best man. Groomsmen were Lee Patrick Jordan and Christopher Bryant Jordan, brothers of the bridegroom, and Dick Bradford Mason IV, brother of the bride. After a wedding trip to Virgin Gorda, British Virgin Islands, the couple will be at home in Dallas where the bridegroom is vice president of Lee Roy Jordan Redwood Company, and the bride is an MARY HELEN MCCARTY of the Jackson Area Phi Mu Alumnae Chapter, accepted a Phi Mu National Award at the fraternity's 1996 national convention in Baltimore.
