James Almas of Jackson. he bride-elect is the granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Denzak of uffalo, N.Y. and the late Mr.

and Mrs. esmond Gaynor of Sligo, Ireland. The prospective bridegroom is the grandson of the late Janet Smiley of Pasadena, and Mr. and Mrs. Donald Bernes of Glenwood Springs, and the late Dr.

and Mrs. David Almas of Havre, Mont. Miss Gaynor is a 2008 graduate of Mount Saint Mary Academy in Watchung, N.J. She is a magna cum laude graduate of the University of Miami, where she received a degree in business administration and was president of Alpha Delta Pi sorority. She received her in accountancy at Auburn University and works as a CPA for PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP.

Almas is a 2006 graduate of Jackson Academy. He was graduated from the University of Miami, where he received a degree in mechanical engineering and received his in industrial engineering at Auburn University. He is associated with Deloitte Consulting. THE COUPLE WILL exchange vows April 23 at Church of the Little Flower with a reception to follow at the Biltmore Hotel in Coral Gables, Fla. Miss Gaynor and Almas to exchange wedding vows April 23 in Coral Gables Patrick James Almas, Meaghan Fiona Gaynor MR.

AND MRS. JIMMY L. Pinkard of Ridgeland announce the engagement of their daughter, Cambrey Tyler Pinkard, to John Preston Bates, son of Mr. and Mrs. Terry Bates of Greenville.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Peggy W. Tyler and the late Shelley R. Tyler, and Lois T. Pinkard and the late Fred Pinkard, all of Kosciusko. The prospective bridegroom is the grandson of Dorothy Nell Goolsby and the late Berneil Goolsby of New Albany, and the late Mr.

and Mrs. Niles Bates of Florence, Ala. Miss Pinkard is a 2011 honors graduate of Jackson Academy. She graduates from Millsaps College in May with a degree in business administration. She was a member of Chi Omega sorority.

She is associated part time with Fine Art Jewelry and St. Gallery as a marketing marketer. Bates is a 2009 graduate of Washington School. He was graduated in 2014 from Mississippi State University with a degree in interdisciplinary studies. He is on staff with the University of Louisiana-Lafayette football program pursuing a degree.

THE COUPLE WILL exchange vows April 30 at 5 p.m. in the meadows of the Green Door Gourmet in Nashville, with a reception to follow in the Grand Barn.
