was presented in 1983; Miss mother, Margaret Hederman May, was presented in 1972; Miss mother, Melissa Mims Morrison, was presented in 1978; Miss mother, Susan Land Stevens Reeder, was presented in 1970; and Miss mother, Janet Roby Wofford, was presented in 1972. Four debutantes are granddaughters of former debutantes: Miss grandmother, Sarah Wakefield Carmichael, was presented in 1944; Miss grandmother, Charlotte Gulledge Peets, was presented in 1946; Miss grandmother, Joan Jordan Hewes, was presented in 1952; and Miss grandmother, Ann Pope Wells, was presented in 1950. Two debutantes are third generation debutantes, with both their mothers and grandmothers having made their debuts with the Debutante Club of Mississippi. Miss grandmother, Jerry Nalty Wilson, made her debut in 1951, and her mother, Melissa Wilson Bondurant, made her debut in 1973. Miss grandmother, Lallah Virginia Carlisle was presented in 1941, and her mother, Carolyn Bentley Ridgway, was presented in 1979.

Miss Allred is a fourth generation debutante: her mother, Leesa Crim McCharen, was presented in 1975; her grandmother, Sallie Lloyd Crim, in 1950; and her great-great-aunt, Sara Lott Holifield, in 1934. Following the presentation, the Debutante Club of Mississippi hosted a reception for the families and friends. When the reception ended, the debutantes and their guests returned to the ballroom for a seated breakfast and an evening of dancing to the music of Class Reunion. The first dance of the evening was reserved for the debutante and her presenter, and the second dance for the debutante and her escort. Dancing by all of the guests continued until midnight.

Festive luncheons, dinners, dances, and other parties honoring each of the debutantes are hosted by the families during the Christmas holiday season.
